Trip 2017 -2018 ; Do the changes in 2018 affect us?

HI,
We are planning a trip over Christmas/New Year's 2017-2018. I believe BOG is changing their requirements for dining credits starting 2018. If we have the dining plan for our trip, does that affect us? As in, if they change dining credits from one to two, does it automatically kick in January 1st, or does the fact we purchased our plan in 2017 keep us on the 2017 requirements?

Where did you hear BoG was changing?

IF they do change, and it is announced well in advance of Jan 1, then it won't matter when you purchased the dining plan. If you go to BoG (or any other restaurant that changes) after the change, you will be charged the number of credits needed for THAT day. So if you want the current 1 QS or 1 TS, then you need to go before any change happens.

Thanks! When I was looking at booking restaurants, I thought BOG was changing. However, checking today, it is still one credit. It must have been some other restaurant I was looking at.
