I just about (for me) slept the whole day away not getting out of bed until 8 a.m. The weather people were saying that it could hit 94 today and the record was 95. As it turned out, Orlando didn't break the record but several nearby towns did.

After having coffee that I obtained in the BC lobby and some cereal that I brought with me in my room, I was off. I used the path that leads to the WS area of EPCOT. It was Mother's Day and I got a pretty pink carnation. I bought a Mother's Day Pin. Someone at Disney has a sense of humor. This year's pin was the two stepdaughters with the stepmother from Cinderella. I also purchased an AP's pin in honor of the 10th anniversary of the F&G show.

I had brought my pin case and headed over to the station in front of the fountain. There were several pin traders of the professional type. The only trade I made was with a lady who stopped by just to look.

While I was there I rode TT twice, once using the single rider line and once with a FP. I also heard my song again! I took many more pictures of the flowers and then headed back to the hotel for a quality nap. I placed my carnation in a glass of water. This flower ended up taking on a Beauty and the Beast personality as the days rolled on.

Then it was back to EPCOT for another set of the Paul Revere and the Raiders shows. There were huge crowds at both the 5:45 and 7 p.m. performances. They were selling their CD's at a kiosk across from the theater. If you bought one, you could get a photo of the group and Paul came out after every show to autograph them. I bought their Ride to the Wall CD. All the profits go to a Vietnam Veteran group.

When the first show ended, I got in line to get the photo signed. Paul is very personable. Good grief, this man is 65 years old and you should see him move around the stage. How he manages to do these three shows a night and then come out to meet the fans in this heat is incredible.

I also had a picture of the two of us taken but the guy who took it didn't understand how to use the camera and the picture didn't come out.

Then, What Luck!! Carl, the lead singer and consummate babe came out to sign autographs too. Things that are hard to believe. He is 54 years old. Again I hoped for a picture and this time it did come out.

After their 7 p.m. show I went up to the fountain. One of my goals this trip was to get the ultimate video of my song at night. I figured it wasn't going to happen but at 8:15 I was ready to roll. And sure enough, my song started. I was beside myself with happiness! I watched the video over and over when I got back to the hotel.

I scootered out of EPCOT around 9 and went to wait for Chris and Jen at B&C. They showed up at 9:20 and had supper while I had a humongous hot fudge sundae. Then they came up to see my room.

After chatting for a while, they left to go back to their hotel and I had lights out by 11:30.

High Points: 2 more Paul Revere and the Raiders shows. Some of the formally from the north but now FL people I talked to. Meeting Chris and Jen at Beaches and Cream.

Low Point: The wicked heat.

Weird Point: Seeing another one of the Flicker/Woodpecker birds. This one was living in a tree at the American theater.

Best Point: Getting the ultimate video of Standing in Motion at the EPCOT fountain!

The heat is awful this time of year isnt it? Glad you managed to have fun despite that.

Hard to believe Paul is that old - just that makes all of us "old" - thanks for posting!
