After my late night, I slept in, not waking up until 7:30. Another hot day was in store with highs projected to be in the low 90's. I was pretty beat from last night's E-Ticket event so I was in no hurry to do anything. In addition to that, my back still wasn't 100% and it was amazingly hot even at 8 a.m. I decided to go to DTD and the West Side.

By the time I got there, the heat was already starting to knock me out. I brought my pins with me and headed over to the large pin trading station. After waiting a while and having no other traders show up, I went inside and made some trades with a few CM's. Then I got my favorite pin of the entire trip, an AP ToT pin with the new logo: "Never the same fear twice!"

Off to the West Side which I just scootered through. It was so hot! Then I did something I said I never would, I ate at McDonalds. Actually my salad was quite good and about 2 bucks less that I would have paid for a Disney one.

Everyone in my family said don't bring me back anything. How can you do that??! So I got them each something small. Then I headed back to the hotel to get out of the heat.

The norm for my trips is to end it up with watching RoE on my last night. I've only seen it twice this trip. After it being the fireworks show for the last 5 years, I'm tired of it. I really wish they'd bring back the Great Illuminations. This trip I'd be skipping it on my final night. I also decided to walk off some of the calories I've consumed. Off to MGM. I was hoping the BatB pre show group 4 for a Dollar would be singing but Sunday is usually their day off and they weren't there. Rode the ToT twice and met some really nice people including a lady who was going on for the first time. She was so funny!

I left and took the boat to the Y&B club area. On the boat in front of me was a young girl of maybe 3 or 4. The window was open and dad was preoccupied. She leaned out and I do mean WAAAY out. I reached out to grab her without even thinking about it. Just then Dad came out of his reverie and got her by the leg. When my heart rate returned to something resembling normal, I enjoyed the rest of the trip. I walked from the Boardwalk to EPCOT.

First stop was the Fish and Chips store in England for supper. For nearly an hour there had been thunder and lightning all around us. There had been a very brief downpour while I was in the ToT. The lightning was fantastic.

I left WS and headed up to the fountain and waited for a song. Then it was off to the bus. By now the lightning was even better and when I arrived back at CSR, I grabbed my video camera and began filming. It was better then any fireworks show.

I called home and grabbed a piece of "The Cake" (strawberry whipped cream) and then finished packing. It always amazes me how time can fly so fast when you're here. Lights out at 11:10 p.m.

High Points: The ToT. The boat ride back to EPCOT. Looking out across the lake at the BW. The lightning.

Low Points: Not seeing 4 for a Dollar. The heat and humidity.

Weird Points: The girl on the boat nearly falling out the window. Watching the fountain from a new angle near Ice Station Cool.

Best Point: The ToT pin. Never the Same Fear Twice!
