So I am 13 weeks pregnant and am eating more frequently than before ( not more food- just more frequently!!)
Typically I have breakfast at like 730-8 and then need another something by 10 and then something at 1230 or 1 and then a snack around 4 and dinner at 7. None of my "meals" are huge- I just find I feel better if I eat smaller meals for frequently.
So I have been toying with the idea of switching to the DDP but dont know if that is worth the money.
I also wondered if you could give me some insight as to which ADRs I could get away with canceling..I have far too many- its just myself and my DH

Thanks! I know I over did it but being pregnant- I also wanted to have the option to sit in a restaurant to eat if need be!!!!!!!!!! ( this is only my 2nd trip to wdw- we were there in feb for 2 days but only did MK and Epcot- so I am new to all of this character dining and wanting to try everything!!)

First of all, CONGRATS!! I have totally been there with the many small meals a day thing....

I would get rid of CRT, Mama Melrose, Coral Reef and Planet Hollywood....those are probably the most "cancel-able" IMO!

Have a great trip!! And best wishes!:goodvibes :cloud9:

Congratulations! I went to Disney unexpectedly pregnant in 2007 and early 2008 (11ish weeks and 34 weeks)

If you are eating smaller meals more frequently I think that the DDP will not work for you unless your DH is willing to share every meal with you.

The meals are large and my guess is that an appetizer will be enough to hold you for many of your meals.

(We did the DDP in Oct 2007 and I really disliked it - because I too liked frequent snacks and not so many heavy meals. I much preferred March 2008 where we were OOP)

WDW is a wonderful place for a prego! I've been with each pregnancy and although i'm sick as all get out. There is food at every turn, a pregnant womans dream :)

Congrats and have fun!

I was in my first trimester when I went a few years ago. I took snacks with me, granola bars, apples, etc. If my tank was on empty I got sick!!! Lots of parks have healthy snack options. Personally, when I got hungry I had to eat immediately and the heck with the dining reservation times. I might plan on doing more counter services so that you can be more flexible on times.

Congrats and have fun!

I am heading to Disney Dec. 14th and will be 33 weeks pregnant. I eat very much the same way you do, lots of small meals. We have the free dining plan so we are planning lots of ADRs, and at most DH and I will split a credit. I get so full so quickly that I can't even eat a half portion when dining out. With most meals being table service we are going to use our counter service credits for all the in between mini meals. I'm looking at it as a great chance to experience LOTS of new places.
