Tried to reserve Pop in Jan - all values are full

I can't believe what just happened. We are going to Disney on Jan 18 - 23. I just called to book Pop Century and he told me that all of the values are full. Not one single room available. The only two moderates coming up with availability was POFQ and Coronado. What the heck is going on??? I even thought that maybe he didn't know what he was doing, so I got online to check and got the same results that he told me. I think I'm gonna cry now.

I think 1/21/08 is MLK Day and a holiday for schools. Maybe that's why.

This is why I booked my June 2008 stay the minute disney released the rates. So many people are booking years in advance that getting a room 6 months or less at your hotel of choice seems to be impossible.

I believe there is also a cheerleading competition (college level) that weekend ... so that is probably why the value resorts & most moderates are all full ...

The WDW Marathon weekend is previous weekend, so some folks might be staying through the MLK, Jr. weekend.

I just booked a preferred room at pop for 1/18/08, literally not 15 minutes ago. Granted its just one night, but there are rooms obviously.
