Tried to make me go to (Disney)Rehab & I said No No No! PTR 10/16/09 On our way!

Where do I find the AP voucher #? Is it found on the actual voucher or on the receipt? Thankfully my sister mailed me both! Thanks for the phone number, too. I will give them a call when I'm at work tomorrow :thumbsup2

I think the AP voucher number is somewhere on the back... but I think it is also on the receipt.... something like WTS ### MM/DD/YY ###
or MM/DD/YY WTS ### ... ##
If you go to the passholder site on disneyworld.com you can enter it (and see the examples).

Good luck! :)

Okay I finally figured it out. That only took me half an hour  Now I'm off to discover the new world of passholders :surfweb:

Ok... I was up at 3AM this morning getting ADRs for our NEXT Disney vacation... I know, I know, I'm obsessed! But that's why I have AP, DVC... ;)

Time to focus on THIS trip... it's coming in only 16 days! 2 weeks from Friday, we'll be in WDW!

We need HELP with costume ideas!!!!!

Here are some possibilities that are on the table:
Haunted Mansion characters (but could be hard to get costumes....)
Princess Aurora and Maleficent
Aristocats (Toulouse and Berliose)
Cheshire Cat & White Rabbit
Siamese Cats from Lady & the Tramp
Adventurers' Club characters

Looking for Disney characters, something that would get interaction...

HELP!!

I like the idea of the Cheshire cat and Rabbit. Here are some other ideas I thought up:

Aladdin & Jasmine
Tarzan & Jane
Lilo & Stitch
Sully & Mike Wasowski (although this one might be a little hard - you could be any one of the monsters from Monsters Inc.)

And there's always the fallback of being pirates pirate:

OK, 2 worries about doing a PTR....
1) That kind of means we have to do a TR, which means our trip better be TR-worthy!
2) What if nobody reads it??!?!? :rotfl:
:lmao:

I just started my first PTR a couple days ago, and have been worried about the same thing! :rotfl:  I'm subscribing!

And my costume vote goes to Aurora and Malificent! I think that's a great idea! :cutie:

Hey! The more the merrier! Looks like your PTR is getting a lot of action now!

So, as far as costumes go, we are currently leaning towards Cheshire Cat and White Rabbit, so tomorrow I'll have to do some research on what we can find online to make these work... At least I know we can always buy Disney Aurora and Male. costumes.

:)

That sounds hella-cute! I can't wait to see pictures of whatever ya'll decide on! Your costumes from previous years are fantastic! :goodvibes

Good choice on the costumes. Now if you can only master the disappearing act of the Cheshire cat you'd be all set :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

That would be an impressive feat... I'll probably post any possibilities we come up with today. First a trip to the store, then purusing the web.

I did break down and add another ADR to our list-- Crystal Palace for breakfast on our last day. I love doing MK on our departure day. What's super cool is that it is for before park opening! Than means even though we have to get up early (ouch) we get into the park before everyone else! That means a chance a "pristine castle pictures"! One other time, we were able to get pictures in front of the castle with no other people in them!

I've been trying to get CP for our NYE trip, but I can't get ANYTHING to come for breakfast on Jan 1 or Jan 2... CP is scheduled for refurbishment starting Jan 3, so that might be why. As of now, I made an ADR for Cafe May Cafe, but in light of not getting CP for NYE, I thought I better add it to Oct if it is there! :)

(Yes, I am a Disney Addict, but I don't want to be cured!)

Costume Update!

Ok, new ideas are:

What do you think????

Thanks for the votes so far! :)

In addition to adding costumes to my shopping list, I realized that there are a few more things we need. Current to-buy/check list:

Ponchos
Wide-brimmed hat for DP (in lieu of prescription sunglasses)
Costumes (need time to be shipped)
Check sunscreen supply

I've been checking the Accuweather .com 15 day forecast, and right now it is for HOT HOT HOT!
Sat Oct 17 High 85 mostly sunny RealFeel 91, Low 69
Sun Oct 18 High 87 mostly sunny RealFeel 59, Low 68
Mon Oct 19 High 86 mostly sunny & humid RealFeel 96, Low 72

My currently packing ideas need some rethinking if it is going to be this hot.

This definitely influences the costume ideas too--at least the current ones aren't too hot! (as long as the queen's headdresses aren't too stuffy!)

Ok, we decided to go with Aurora and Maleficent!

I just shelled out the $ for the costumes to get here by Oct 13, because we leave on the 16th! So soon!

Hooray! :woohoo:

This is something I've been trying to sort out for myself, as well.

In past years, my eyesight was so that I could see better with my glsses, but I could still function without them. So I would leave my prescription glasses in the room, and just bring a pair of regular sunglasses.

However, since then my eyes have gotten worse and I've had to change lenses. On my recent trip to San Fransisco, I discovered that my method no longer works for me... I spent the whole first day asking DBF to read and describe things to me. LOL. :rotfl:

So now I'm faced with this upcoming WDW trip, and trying to decide what to do. I hate hats, so that's out. I can't afford to spring for prescription sunglasses, so that's out too.

I was at Walmart yesterday morning, I noticed that by the eye center, there are two options. They have the the flip-up shades that you can clip on to your eyeglasses, but all I oculd think of was Dewayne Wayne from "Different World." :lmao: They also have sunglasses that are large and made to fit over your regular glasses, but they look like something straight out of the "It's a Bug's Life" theater .

I'm probably going to go with one or other other, I'm just not sure which yet. :confused3 Going to have to decide on the lesser of two evils, myself!

Yaaaaaay! I'm sure you two are going to look adorable! :goodvibes:thumbsup2

After reading your post, my DP says that she changed her mind and she thinks maybe the big sunglasses that fit over your regular glasses and block out the sun from all sides are the way to go. :sad2:

(Her dad wears these on good days... on bad days, he just jams other sunglasses over the top of his regular glasses!)

That's exactly what I ended up doing when I was in California in August. :lmao: You can actually see it in this picture, my eyeglasses with my sunglasses jammed on top of them. :rotfl2:

Actually, the ones I saw that are made to go over your regular glasses really aren't THAT bad, they're just big. But that's quite fashionable right now, they're actually not that much larger than my regular sunglasses. I'm still undecided which I'm going to go for, but I think that I'm leaning towards the Dewayne Wayne flip-ups. :rotfl:
