OK, so I used to be able to call day-by-day and make dining reservations for my 180+10 day window. Now they won't let you? You have to call and make reservations for your entire trip at 180 days from your check in day? :confused3

I guess it's better/easier for them, but I'm worried about getting CRT now if I can't call 190 days out.

Except for a small period of time where the online system would allow it, it has always been 180+10, not 190 (at least as far back as 2007 when I made reservations). It's 180 days from check in for the first 10 days of your reservation.

180+10 does not = calling at 190 days out.

You do it at 180 days (always been that way except for the glitch mentioned above) and make 10 days worth at one time.

Based on what you wrote -- there was never a need to call "day by day" to make 180+10, that's the whole point of the "+10".

When you are 180 days out is when you can call. You may make dining reservations at that time for the entire length of your stay or for ten days if your stay is longer.

If your stay is longer then ten days, on the 190th day for each day beyond the tenth you can call for that day.

Except if you are staying offsite. Then you do NOT get the luxury of +10.

True .... I was assuming, you know ....

That's all pretty new I think. Back in 2005 it was 90 days, and you had to call day by day. I remember it took me like 4 days of waking up early and calling as soon as the phones opened to finally score breakfast at CRT because it would put you on hold until an operator was available and if you didn't get an operator within 15 or 20 minutes it'd be all booked up. It was nuts. It reminded me of calling in to a radio station to try and win some kind of prize.

In 2006 it worked like it does now. I know because I had to book my reservations 180 days before my May 2007 trip. They also did +10 at that time.

So, not really new at all.

When I said "new" I meant since 2005 which is the last time we took our family, so new for us. Sorry if that caused confusion.
