2 part question:

We (2 Adults 2 children 10 & 5) planning on visiting WDW in Sept (at most likely free dining time). My question is can we upgrade (and keep free dining) to annual pass as we are going to go back in Jan for Marathon Weekend.

The second part is can only one of us upgrade to the Annual Pass when all on the same reservation.

Any assistance with this is appreciated.

You may upgrade one or all of your passes once you have them.

We went for free dining one year when we already had annual passes. We purchased a single day pass with the package to get the free dining, kept the room card and upgrading the single day to an annual pass once our annual pass expired.

Free dining is not always the best deal. It makes sense for a value or mod but if you are planning on a deluxe you may be better off with the room discount (you may want at least one annual pass to get the AP room discount, I am fairly certain you can now get the dining plan with an annual pass rate room if you still want the dining plan)

Hi,
We did exactly that! We were there for free dining. We bought into the vacation club. They let us upgrade to annual premium passes for LESS THAN 100.00 each!! The problem was we went 5 times that year to get the value of our passes, we spent way more than we should have that year. :confused3:teacher:
