I have 200 pts December User Year

Can I:

Carryover my DEC04 200 pts to DEC05.

DEC05 = 200 new pts + 200 carryover points = 400pts

In addition to those 400pts, can I borrow DEC06's 200 pts in DEC05 for a total of = 600pts?

Does this make sense and is it possible?

At any given time, a DVC member can travel on 3 years worth of points-1 borrowed year, 1 current year and 1 banked year.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

So, the answer would be YES. ::yes:: ::yes::

That is EXACTLY the way it works! I would never be able to give up that many years of trips though!:hyper: That is why we added on a year after our first 230 point purchase. We now have 380, and it is just right for us. That way we can bank nearly every year.

Thanks for all the quick replies.
The reason I am asking is because DH will NOT be able to travel anywhere from May 2006 - August 2007 because of rotations, so we were thinking of going into this grueling time period with a cruise-park combo before his HELL begins.

It would be good to have more points to work with.

Just make sure you don't miss the 100% banking deadline for the 2004 points. That should be Tuesday May 31, 2005 for the December Use Year. To have the full 600 points, you will need to plan your trip for sometime after Dec 1, 2005, as you can only borrow 1 year before you want to go.

Excellent notation. Thank you! :)
