I am wondering the best ways to get from Pop Century resort to Wilderness resort for the triathlon in September.

I should clarify that I'm trying to figure out how to navigate myself and my bike to one of the event shuttle locations (All-Star Music Resort, Port Orleans, Wilderness, Contemporary, or Sleepy/Dopey parking lot). And on race day my family will need to get from Pop Century to one of these locations as well.

I'm feeling VERY frustrated and regretting that I signed up for the race because of the transportation nightmare I think I may be facing.

There should be some info on the race website (or hopefully coming soon if there is not some now)...seems like it has been posted there for the other triathlons.

When I've raced there, I have always made sure to stay at Ft. Wilderness or the Wilderness Lodge because of the logistics. Do you have a car??

I sure hope you have a car. Or you might need to find another athlete to take you or grab a taxi.

I just found the athlete guide on the website...have you seen that? It's on the race page, then you click on the triathlon link in the middle of the page, then there is a list on the right that has "athlete guide" listed. It is a PDF file.

Anyway...there are some shuttles...but not from POP. If you have a car, you will park at the MK lot and get a shuttle from there. You can't take your bike on regular Disney transportation (normal busses, boats or monorails).

Hope this helps...a lot of people (on tri boards) don't love the Disney tris because of logistics. I'm a Disney girl, so I like to race there, but like I said, I try to get lodging early, and closer to the race site.
