I have heard that you can go to the Tri Circle D ranch near FW and see the Cinderella horses for free? Has anyone done this? Is it worth the time? My DD is 9 and loves horse and I thought about doing this when we visit in April 2008. Thanks!

We did this in August. DS (4) was also able to ride a pony. I don't think it is worth it to make a special trip, but we had dinner reservations at Trails End and then went to the campfire/singalong with Chip and Dale, so it was worth it for us.

We've done this. But it really isn't a big deal and I wouldn't go out of my way for this. Instead, next time you're in the MK, stop by the barn (next to the barber shop) for an up-close view of the horses.

We went to the ranch before we went to the Hoop-de-do-revue. My boys liked looking at all of the horses but wouldn't make a special trip.

Appreciate everyone's input. We will have some "down time" available away from the parks so though tthis is something we could so some afternoon after hanging out at the pool, Thanks!

We've done this a couple of times. We've parked at WL, toured the resort-seen "Old Faithful". We then walk the paved all-purpose trail to FW. Once there not only are the horse barns (they live in style), but a petting zoo is there. This is where to get the pony rides.

UNfortuately the petting zoo is no longer there. We inquired about it when we were there in August and the girl running the pony rides informed us they ahd taken the last animals to a refuge 2 weeks prior to us being there. DS was upset, but was happy when he got ride a pony:goodvibes
