Trends that you're tired of. Trends that you love.

Crocs. Must. Die.

So should low-rise jeans on girls. Like, especially on fat girls. And especially like super low rise.

My calves don't exist either.
I've got these huge thighs, and wide hips... but from a little bit above my knee all the way to my ankle, there's nothing there. It's so hard to find good pants because of that.

I've never payed much attention to my hips xD The fact that I can comfortably fit my legs into aged 11 clothing kind of stops me worrying omg am I really fat xD I don't find normal pants hard to get but skinnies tend to grip the thigh and fall off over the knee.

Oh noooo, avert your eyes, I'm wearing Crocs! The horror. And I just might put some socks on underneath, too.

Agrees about low-rise jeans, though. :crazy2:

I think low-rise jeans are fine on the right girls. Otherwise that's just a muffin top waiting to happen.

I don't get what's so bad about low-rise jeans...
I hate high-rise ones though.

I hate high rise jeans simply because some girls wear them TOO high and they've got the old lady look going on.
You know where your crotch looks like it starts at the top of your belly button. And in some cases if you're not small enough for it, it just makes you look like you have a fat crotch?
If that makes any sense.
Just imagine a 50 year old woman, with high rise pants, who isn't exactly small, and you should get it.

MUFFIN TOPS! Low rise jeans are marketed to everyone saying it's the cool thing. Everyone should NOT be wearing them. I mean really, do you want to see some 250 pound girl in low rise jeans with a gut, camel toe, and muffin top?

Just because it comes in your size does NOT mean you should wear it.

Ew.

Not trying to bash overweight people, but I completely agree. Some clothes just look better on certain figures.

I totally agree with wearing your pants too tight. I love my low rise jeans, but if I had a muffin top or was wearing them with a tiny top I just wouldn't wear them you know? I also HATE those HUGE earrings some people wear, and bellybutton rings that like dangle down.
As for trends I love, I really like big bags that hold everything, headbands, double pierced ears and long hair.

Yep. People don't dress for their body type. There are some low rise jeans that were popular when I started jr. high school in 2001. They were awful but that is all that there was. Some didn't even have buttons and you just tied them up the front.

Same with skinny jeans. I'd like to wear them but my butt is too big and my thighs are too big as well. They just don't look good on my figure.

Another trend that bugs me is those huge sunglasses. I know the story behind them, and that makes the style even weirder, but what's worse than those sunglasses being popular is how much they cost; I took a shortcut through a Saks outlet (!!) and their sunglasses were all one-hundred dollars or higher. And one pair was just like clear plastic and looked like safety goggles you'd use for leaf-blowing or mixing chemicals. Now that one left me scratching my head.

Trends I like... well, flannel caps with ear flaps and tassels seem to be in. I've seen a lot of those lately, on both guys and girls, and they look goofy but I love them! I've liked those hats forever, worn a few myself, and all of a sudden, uh, I can see just how strange they look. :rotfl: But I do like it. It's a cute little trend.

A style/trend I don't like is the look a ton of kids seem to be picking up on the last few years with the tight black/grey/red, the baggy black pants with chains, the appropriate accessories, and the dyed hair. There are so many variations on this style, but they all manage to look exactly the same. And the dye especially gets to me; it almost always looks unnatural, and I just don't get why every single person feels the need to have jet black hair with blue or red highlights. :confused2:

(Not trying to insult anyone who might be into that look, I'm just not into it.)

And I'm a Croc defender. Regular clown-shoes, fancy nicer-Crocs, Mammoth-Crocs, they're all good with me. (Even though I only own one pair. lmao.) Y'all better recognize the rubber. :snooty:

I've got me some purple hair, and I'm prettier than all the girls with natural hair.
Not trying to offend anyone who has natural hair.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. ;)

I love dyed and natural hair.
Could really care less. Personally for me, I don't dye my hair because I don't have the patience to keep up with it, or to wait for it to grow out.

I saw a picture of this girl who had her hair dyed the same colors as a parrot. It was ridiculous, but SO COOL. Seriously, I loved it. She looked awesome.

i think its awesome when people dye their hair in awesome colors. i want red like RED RED highlights soooo bad! and today when i got to school a girl in my classes just dues her hair blue. with teal and baby blue. its sooo awesome. but id never have the patience for all of the dying or the planning to keep it up.

and i love uggs. i know theyve been talked about before but they are sooo comfortable.

So today we had a new girl come in to math class who wreaked of Staten Island. No offense to you from Staten Island, but she totally fit the stereotype.

Two sizes too small Juicy sweatsuit.
Uggs tucked with the sweatpants.
Very dark fakeandbake tan.
The trashy VS fruity perfume that was in two years ago that EVERYONE wears.
Very fake (dyed to the max) hair.

I hate it when girls dress like that.
