Treehouses at 7mo?

Has anyone been lucky enough to get a treehouse at 7 months or is this a buy SSR pt kind of ressie. Would like to get one next year if possible and wondering if I have a shot.

So far, it seems that THV are hard to get unless you own at SSR. But, I believe only 1/2 of them have been declared into DVC inventory and this could be why availability is limited.

I just canceled mine at 7 months. Changed to BLT wanted to give it a shot. So somebody will be getting my reservation at 7 months!

I waitlisted for THV at 7 months, and a few days (like maybe 3 ) my waitlist came through! So it's definitely worth a try!

I think as the new resorts "settle in" ...there will be people that own there who want to try other resorts...just like most of us...and there will be availability.

We own at SSR and I called at the 11th mark at 9 am for Dec 29th and could not get a place. We did get the 30th and waitlisted for the 29th.

We will be staying in a THV for 9 nights beginning on September 21st - reserved at 7 month mark.

I think it is possible but it would depend on the time of year you were trying to book. We own at SSR and booked the treehouse at 11 months for Aug

Thanks for all the replies. It seems that it might depend on when we want to go. That part is still undecided. Maybe I should just pick an approximate time and call every day til there is an opening and waitlist the beginning. Is that possible?

I called today, and a CM told me of several days in the month we want to go had availability for the Treehouse Villas including our 40% military discount. But there's only four of us so we have it reserved but will probably just change it to a smaller villa somewhere. Total price would have been $1030 for 4 days/3 nights. We are not DVC owners, btw.

When are you trying to go? We booked it today for 3 nights this July. Duh, never mind, you said May. I would keep calling every week.
