About.com has a nice gallery in their Hotels/Resorts/Inns section showing a fully-refurbised Treehouse Villa. I'd post a link, but apparently I'm not allowed. :sad2: (Anyone want to help out?) Anyway, you can click the individual pictures for high-resolution images.

My family is stoked about staying in a Treehouse this June, all nine of us.

I put a request on our reservation to be placed in a southeastern unit. I figure that will put us closest to the Treehouse pool, the main body of SSR (including the High Rock Spring Pool), DTD and the boat dock. And there should be less vehicular through traffic. I just hope they don't reserve the best units for VIPs like they do at the Fort Wilderness Cabins.

That's them. I wish they had included pictures of the bedrooms and pull-out beds.

...... I'd post a link, but apparently I'm not allowed. :sad2:

New users cannot post links until they have made at least 10 posts to the board. This is an anti-spam measure.

they are now how do you rent the Treehouse?

Unless you are a SSR owner, you'd probably have better luck getting a cash ressie through CRO because it is a hot item. Currently going for $545 and up per night.

These are not set to open until the summer. I wish we could see photos of the beds. We are planning on a trip with 9 people and although it says that it will accomodate that, we don't want to be sleeping on top of each other.

They would be nice if they didn't have the 1970's Brady Bunch decor. Not my cup of tea. Too bad, because the layout and the decks look nice. I couldn't wake up to that decor however. :sad2:

I agree - but I don't have to live there, just make it through the week.
Priced the same as a 2 bedroom @ SSR - the treehouses are a BARGAIN, if you need the space. You can bring relatives without a major expense being incurred.

We sooooo want to stay in one in December but when my DH called this weekend they said that there were none available. I'm not sure if he asked if they were all put into the inventory or not but staying there would allow us to take one of my sis-in-laws and her family of five. Fingers crossed that one becomes available soon so that they can start looking for airfare deals.

If I'm not mistaken there is going to be at least 1 bdrm with bunk beds so there will have to be a couple of people "on top of each other", literally.

The model shows a king bed, queen bed, bunk beds, queen sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair.

MommyMusings.com also has some pictures of the inside. Judging by the living room, it looks like the model that was open for the Resort Showcase media event wasn't furnished yet, so that may be the reason the About.com gallery doesn't show the bedrooms.

Stephanie also has lots of info and pics on the American Idol attraction, BLT villas, AKV, the new themed rooms at CBR, birthday parties at Goofy's Candy Company, and the Hanes Design-a-Tee store, as well as really nice info on more familiar things, such as SSR villas and the cabins at Fort Wilderness. Well worth browsing.

The Treehouse Villas look ideal for a trip I'm planning next year with my sister's family. Guess I'd better start saving my points!
