Treehouse in August?

We'd love to go for a THV in late August 2013. What kind of chances do you think we'd have at the 7 Month mark in January?

Treehouses often but not always disappear before 7 months out. Nevertheless, you will have a better chance for last half of Aug rather than first because last half of Aug is low demand time.

I would make a reservation elsewhere for the days you want, and waitlist a treehouse. Two years ago, when the treehouses were very new, our waitlist came through in only a few days, for the beginning of August, for a 5-night stay.

You never know until you try!

Yes, I'll probably book our home resort at 11 months out, then try for the THV at 7 months.

We are looking at end of August (like around the 22nd), so hoping that they won't be completely booked up.

Doesn't hurt to keep checking. We had a week at SSR reserved for June and found that the last 5 days were available at a THV, so switched all but the first two days. Right now the first day is available---keep checking to see if the other day opens up so we can move the whole stay to a THV.
