Treehouse Grills, etc.

Does anyone know if charcoal for the grills at the treehouses is provided or if we would have to bring our own? I assume the grill utensils are in the kitchen.

Also, should we expect mosquito's to be an issue. I'm thinking of picking up a couple of the OFF Clip Ons.

We'll be staying there for the first time this Sunday, so if anyone has any other general suggestions or heads up for the treehouses, it would be appreciated.

You may want to head over to the DVC board; since THV is a DVC resort.

They may have more information.

We stayed there a few years ago and loved it!! You had to provide your own charcoal. The kitchen is well stocked for utensils- not sure about grilling items. We had our own grilling forks & tongs. Enjoy!

They don't provide charcoal or lighter. You bring your own.

Very nice grill utensils are included. As I recall they were on a high shelf above the stove. Both THV stays we had intentions to grill but never got around it. The store at SSR does sell single use charcoal packs....or did at any rate.

No need to repeat the grill info but I can tell you that our stay (May 2010) had a lot mosquitos. We could not sit on our deck at all.
