Has the Tree changed since 1999? It looks the same to me, but then I'm not particularly observant.

The Tree is the same, but all the growth around it has really grown a lot. Right now you can't get that same picture from that same spot. The the real trees and bushes on the left and right sides now give you an obstructed view.
