Tree of Life Awakening - Time?

I am hearing great things about how pretty the Tree of Life Awakening is but I checked sunset time on the day we plan to be there (3/24/17) and it will be around 7:30. The park is set to close at 7... Since it won't be dark, is there a chance of seeing the lights etc? Or should I not plan on it?

It can't start until about 8PM under those conditions.
If they intend to present the shows, Disney will extend DAK's hours.
Just keep checking as the dates approach.

No worries -hours will be extended.

DAK is now an after dark park

The Awakenings aren't going away and Pandora and RoL are coming!

One little tip-they usually do several Awakenings after Park Close as well-when we were there earlier this month Park Close was at 7:30 PM and they did Awakenings at 7:30 PM and 7:43 PM.

We are visiting the week after the spring time change so sunset is about 30 minutes after the current park closing time. Waiting to see if there is an hours adjustment for our week too.

They are intending to make DAK an "after dark park."

Since "dark" is actually not until about a half-hour AFTER "sunset" they absolutely MUST extend the hours.
