treats at MK?

What are the guidelines for bringing in snacky food for kids to Magic Kingdom? I'm thinking - granola bars, cheerios and goldfish in baggies, etc. Anyone going to search through my bags for that sort of thing?

Hi, yes you can bring in snacks/treats, and you will be search, but they're very friendly and understanding. No worries!

So, don't get worried that the "snack police" will take your treats! They will look in every item being carried into the parks, even a purse. That is why I'm happy I don't need one anymore.
