Hello
We are booked currently in room 7090 midship. I’m thinking of moving to 7138 still a 4c. It’s much closer to the aft elevator dh has some mobility issues. Also it has the third bed 7090 the extra closet. Our girls will be 14. Is it better to have the extra closet or bed with teens? Also location which one would be better. I’m also worried about the movement that close to aft. Thanks!

I haven't been on the Wish/Treasure yet, but I haven't noticed a significant difference in movement between rooms midship and rooms by the aft elevators on the other Disney ships.

Whether you need the 3rd bed depends on whether one of your girls would be comfortable with the upper bunk. When the wall bed by the veranda is down, it will be difficult to get to the veranda. The stateroom host will move the bed up during the day, so that's only an issue if you intend to be on the veranda in the morning (before service) or after dinner. When we sailed in a Category 4 with my two kids, one took the upper bunk and the other took the wall bed so we were able to use the sofa as a sofa throughout the day.

I didn't realize the family verandahs on the Treasure have an extra closet when they only slept 4 guests. We recently sailed on the Fantasy in a family verandah that only slept 4 guests and we had an arm chair next to the sofa in place of the murphy bed, which we appreciated a lot.

We did 9636, which is pretty much the same location on deck 9, but on the stbd side. We loved the location. Super easy to Marceline Mkt and whatnot on the pool deck. Zero sound from the elevators.

As far as the kids and where they sleep, for us it'd come down to finances. Treasure (while wonderful) is still in that 'new ship stupidly expensive' category. If you can swing 2 rooms, go for it. We loved the Treasure, but the lack of drawer storage is very annoying

That’s what I’m thinking would be nice save the sofa for relaxing during the day. I feel like they’ve had such a growth spurt since sailing in August trying to find what will be the most comfortable.

Definitely the extra bed. Our younger kids fought for the top bunk. Teen didn’t want anything to do with the top bed and probably wouldn’t feel comfortable sleeping up there (little head space may feel claustrophobic; weight limit is pretty high though; 250lbs).

Also do order a treasure blanket and pillow. That was nice to have for the sofa when the bunk is folded up, although finding luggage space was challenging (we used a canvas tote bag from our previous trips). We found there was plenty of storage in the bathroom and we took cubes for the closet (easier to locate and contain clothes).
