Has anyone booked hotel and tickets through travelocity? Looking at RP and 3 day park to park tickets. Seems like a better deal than the website itself. Am I missing something?

I've used them many times - no trouble and often cheaper! :thumbsup2

We have used them before with no troubles but went with orbitz this year cause they were a little cheaper plus we went with a offsite hotel since we couldn't afford onsite this year

What are the dates and the prices they are giving? We can help you out from there to see if you can find a better deal.

Problem with many of these third party sites is that you can't cancel or change anything once you have booked. Booking direct gives you this flexibility.

AAA will generally give you a better deal but you have to call AAA or the hotels to get those rates.

Thanks for all the help so far...

Looking at Sept 13-16 Royal Pacific
3 day park to park tix
$1261.58 on travelocity

Universal website with only 2 day 1 park tix - $1267.91

How many people?

Annual pass rate for your dates is $139/night. An annual pass is $100 more than the 3 day park to park ticket but will save you since the normal hotel rate is $197/night. You are saving $60/night with purchasing an annual pass, so $180 over the three nights. That gives you an $80 savings right there.

Okay so

1 annual pass is $230
3 adult 3 day hopper = $435

3 nights @ $139 = 417

total without taxes - $1082 before taxes

You can save more by purchasing the annual pass and the 3 tickets at the gates because you will be getting 15% off of the hoppers. That will save you another $25.

You are now down to $1057

oooo, you are good!

So purchasing this way, would I still qualify for early entry/express pass?

Yes, as long as you are onsite, it doesn't matter. With a 3 night stay you get 4 full days of early entry and unlimited express passes. Also remember that you can pool hop.
