Are we correct in thinking that we can travel with my 16 year old daughter without permission from her father. My husband and I and our 6 year old will be traveling with my DD16...in the past we carried the divorce papers showing that I had full custody and at times when she was young we had a signed letter but now that she is 16 I think that she is free to travel without written permission form the ex. Can anyone confirm that??

Also we will be traveling with DD16's friend...also 16...what kind of documentation does she need? She has a passport...do I need a letter from her mother? notarized?

Thanks.

I don't know about traveling with your daughter but I believe her friend needs a notorized letter. We needed one 3 years ago when we took my brother and sister across the border.
