Travelling to Hong Kong, from Mainland China, currency question

I will be in Beijing before going to Hong Kong Disneyland. Can I use my Chinese Yuan in Hong Kong or should I purchase Hong Kong dollars?

You should purchase Hong Kong dollars. Most places will not accept RMB.

I only wanted to add that if you decide on a side trip to Macau, they will take RMB, HKD and the Macanese MOP in most places.
