When I went to WDW in Oct I had a Victoza pen that needed to be refridgerated. It was a sample from my doctor, so did not have a prescription label with my name on it. In fact, it didn't have my name on it anywhere. I was concerned about getting it through security, but had no problem. I carried a list of my meds with my doctor's letterhead on it, but was never asked for it (either going to FL or coming home). I put it in an insulated lunch bag with a hard plastic freezer pack. Going through security I just put both the pen with it's needles and the freezer pack in a plastic bin by themselves. The TSA didn't even give them a second look. I had called Air Tran before I left and was told that as long as the freezer pack was frozen solid I could take it through security, but if was not frozen I'd have to put it in my checked bag. I was told to just put the pen, needles, and freezer pack in their own bin and declare them.
My last day at WDW I took the insulated lunch kit with the pen and needles in it and had luggage services put it in the fridge, then had them place the freezer pack in the freezer. When we claimed our carryons that afternoon, I just had to make sure we got the carryons, the insulated bag with the pen in it, and also the freezer pack from bell services.
