We are a family of 5 one being age 1. Next year we have a trip planned with another family of 4. We are excited because this is their first trip to Disney since having kids. We want to try and eat a few meals together at Chef Mickeys, LTT, and CRT. How do I go about making reservations for us so we can all sit together? Since CRT is prepaid, I assume the best thing is to try and get a reservation for all of us and I pay for it and have the other family reimburse me. What can we do at LTT and Chef Mickey? Do I book us together and then do we have to pay on one ticket or can it be split? I assume if we both made separate reservations, we would have no chance of sitting next to one another. I hope that someone can help to answer these questions. I would love for all of us to get a few chances to dine together. But I have never had to figure this our before, so I don't know what to do.

We were a party of 12 last year--2 families on the Dining Plan staying at different resorts plus one other member of our group paying out of pocket. We made the reservations for parties of 12. You won't be seated together unless you make your reservations as one party. We really never had a problem with one table and two different dining plans plus the one paying guest except at the Coral Reef, but then everything went wrong there. The staff was able to do whatever we wanted with the bills and were quite cordial. We ate all our sit-down meals together as a big group at it was a lot of fun--just make sure to make the reservations as one party and give the reservation numbers to both parties. Have fun.

We just did this in April. We're a family of 5 (youngest was 5 mos at the time). We were travelling with another family of 5. So, counting the baby (which you have to do, even if baby won't be eating), we were a group of 10. I made all of our ADR's. The only prepaid one was CRT. I just put the whole thing on my cc and our friends sent me a check for their portion of the bill. At all of the other restaurants, we were seated together at one big table. When the server came to the table, we told him or her that we would like separate checks. It was never a problem.

Have fun!

Thank you for the info. I feel a lot better about getting to dine with our friends.

I'm part of a group of 15 doing 'Ohana. I think there are 5 families involved and we all get seperate checks, even though we're on one ADR
