Does anyone know if it would be faster to walk to DDT and take a bus to a resort closet to the various parks like the Board walk and then walk into Epcot? Or is it faster to just take the park bus from SSR. I've read alot about slow buses, and I didn't know if this would save any time.

The park bus is faster. The DTD idea is good if you want to go from SSR to another resort.

Agree - definitely faster heading straight from SSR to the parks.

I've never felt like it took us too long to get to a park from SSR. In fact, have always been rather impressed by the bus system.

Once you get out of the resort, it's a straight shot to the parks. Much faster than walking to DTD, waiting on a resort bus, getting off at that resort and walking a not too close distance to get to the park.

Waiting for a resort bus to show up at DTD is one of the longest waits, in my experience. Also, you've added a good deal of travel time to the overall trip with the walk to DTD from SSR, and from the boardwalk resort to Epcot/Hollywood Studios.

Using DTD as a hub is a good plan for getting to another resort for a dining reservation, but can't compete for destinations that have direct bus service from SSR.

there are quite a few stops at SSR inself so can take a while to get out of the resort

We have always been impressed with the bus service inside of SSR. We have stayed in Grandstand once and Congress Park twice. No problems.
However, we have waited quite awhile at DTD for a resort bus.

Thank you so much for all of your help. I've never stayed at SSR and I can't wait until my November vacation!
