We're planning to fly from Orlando to San Juan for our cruise. At the end, we'll disembark in Port Canaveral (where we will leave our car). I'm looking for the best way to commute from Cocoa Beach/Port Canaveral to the Orlando Airport. Any experience or suggestions?

I think you best bet would be to rent a car back to MCO from PC.

The toll road (528) is the fastest. You pick it up north of Cocoa Beach and south of the port. I've driven it from Cocoa Beach to MCO and it was less than an hour. Few bucks in tolls and there is even a gas station near the airport exit to top off the rental tank. The airport is right off the toll road and I can't imagine there is a faster way.

528 (aka Beachline ) all the way to the airport. :) Have a great cruise!

We did car rental. Get off the ship right away at 730 am or earlier..skip breakfast. The port rental car has 3 companies, and after the first bus, it can get backed up. We got off the ship at 735am. And we were at Disney saratoga springs hotel by 930am! And we stopped for a starbucks! The way to go and you can drop off at the airport with no drop fee.
