HI all

It's been a long time since I've been to DLR. I'm bringing my 6yo dd for short trip over Spring Break (Mar 13-17). I'm very excited  but a little nervous about doing this trip without DH. When we went to WDW when she was almost 4 we scheduled mid-day break everyday and had her rest and we usually swam. Not sure if we will be swimming this time around and I'm not sure if she will need a break during the day or not? I guess I'm kinda worried about running out of things to do (we will be in the parks for 3 days).. We are both early risers so we will be at the parks early. But, we will not be riding the "big" rides (Space, Screaming, Indy) Am I worrying for nothing?

Any suggestions for me to think about?? Thanks!

You'll have a great time and definitely won't run out of things to do! I took my 6 yo and 4 yo last September for a 3-day girls trip and we had a great time and we still didn't quite fit it all in. Even though they don't ride any of the "big rides", there are plenty of other rides for them and they loooove the other activities like exploring Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, learning to draw a Disney Character at Animation Academy (and everything else in that building), watching Aladdin in the theater, the parades, a character meal, etc. My 6 years old's favorite rides are Autopia, Toy Story MM, Monsters Inc (for Roz's comments at the end!), and Soarin'. We left for mid-day pool/lunch breaks on two of the days and stayed in the park one day without a break....we just played it by ear, but the day we didn't take a break, we left earlier that evening once she tired out. There are also things in Downtown Disney for a mid-day break that they love, like Build A Bear and Studio 365. Just take it easy and have a great time! :cool1:
