I voted "other" because I don't carry cash, I just use my room key charge. Will you be staying onsite?

Me too. I usually use the room key, then I pay for it when I check out. I usually carry some cash too b/c sometimes it comes in handy :)

Just to throw you off, I voted for everything BUT traveler's checks, only because I don't use them. I think that traveler's checks for a student would be a good idea. I use an array of monetary applications while in the parks. Most small stuff is in cash and then the rest is generally is charged to my room, which is to say whatever credit card I have attached to the room key.

I have a Commerce Bank card as well, and I works in Disney. Is your bank card a Visa card? If so, you can use it like credit or debit - two birds with one stone!

We used our room charge almost always. Only exceptions were the DIsney Dollars, that the kids had, and A few bucks here and there, for the carts that did not take the room charge. (only found one all week, in Morroco).I hate carrying cash, or extra CC around.

I currently use my cc and cash only because I get the rewards on the cc and not on my debit card.

That being said, when I went on my senior trip, I took some cash and my debit card. I used cash for all my meals and my debit card for the bigger purchases. Of course this was a few years ago and more places are now set up for taking credit and debit purchases. I think I would go with a percentage lihe 25% in cash or traveler's checks and 75% on the debit card.

I don't know how your group will check in but the room key charge is most likely not going to be an option. One of the chaparones just checked everyone in and handed out keys at once according to rooms. Could you imagine checking in and then trying to link accounts to everyone who is in each room? That would take a very long time

I carry a little cash but mostly use my room key, which is attached to my Visa Check card, which I consider a debit car because the $ comes directly out of my checking account. So, debit card.

That's what I am doing this time. This way the cash is there, but I do not have to carry it around. I think I may keep about $200.00 cash for the 6 days we will be there. :flower:

Usually me and dh have about $50 cash for drinks or a snack. Then we have 2 credit cards. The bulk of the spending goes on the card (souveniers and sit down dinners). I just find it's easier that way.
