When travelling with a Wheelchair from POP to MK, are we better off taking the Bus from POP to MK and getting off at the far side of the lake or driving to the lot, parking in a handicap spot and crossing over by ferry/Monorail? The party in the chair has limited mobility and can get out the chair and walk short distances.

Thanks for the help

Much better off taking the bus to MK. If you park in the lot you have steep hills to navigate between the parking lot and TTC and, if you are going to use the monorail instead of the ferry the ramps are very steep.

Just get the bus at Pop, marked MK. It will let you off very close to the entrance of Mk. I see no advantage to driving to TTC, and then catching the ferry or monorail to where the bus would have let you off if you had taken the bus to MK. If you take the monorail from the TTC, you have a very steep ramp to contend with both at the TTC and at MK. There are no elevators. If you take the ferry from TTC you will exit the ferry right beside where the bus to MK would have let you off.

We've tried all routes and agree the bus is the only way to go. The others require some shuffling and quite a bit of endurance. No need to tire yourselves before you hit MK when a relaxing, no transfer bus ride is readily available. :thumbsup2
