Travel times from DVC resorts to parks - is there a list?

I thought I had seen on these boards a list of 'typical/average' travel times using Disney Transportation to each of the Disney theme parks. I can't recall if it was one compiled list or if I had seen it for each DVC separately.

If there is a compiled list of typical travel times, can someone post here or direct me to a link?

It will all depend on how long it takes you to catch a bus, but once on the bus, I timed the ride from BWV to the MK and AKV to the MK last year and was surprised that both rides took the same amount of time - 16 minutes.


Honestly, with the obvious exception of AKV to AK (which takes just a few minutes) - I've found the time from getting on a bus to getting off at the park to be about the same for everywhere we've stayed. Closer resorts share busses and that makes up the difference in travel time for the "further out resorts" - AKV, SSR, OKW that have dedicated busses.

I've also learned (the hard way) that at the larger resorts (SSR and OKW), if you're traveling in the morning rush - it makes sense to walk to catch the bus at one of the first stops rather than wait for pick-up at the main stop (HH @ OKW and Springs @ SSR). We had more than one morning where OKW busses filled at the internal stops and left before reaching our stop - and I've heard that it happens at SSR as well.

Unfortunately, there's bad, outdated info on that site. I'd only use it if you already know the correct routes. It might be OK on times but could be outdated there as well.

By little bit of info: bus from Mk to AKL- 14 minutes
from MK to YC- 7 minutes
Those are just actual travel times.

Do you know if the routes themselves are correct? The site does say that you should add wait time for each segment. I was also adding time to get to the bus/monorail/boat, so I was thinking that if the routes are correct, the site is still useful. Of course, if the routes aren't correct, I need to get some things figured out between now and May

The Unofficial Guide has a great chart. Think of the charts that are in the front of an US Atlas. With destinations along the top and down the side with a grid listing the time between every destination, including times between resorts.

It also lists best case, average and worst case.

It's a great resource.

I was also adding time to get to the bus/monorail/boat, so I was thinking that if the routes are correct, the site is still useful. Of course, if the routes aren't correct, I need to get some things figured out between now and May

Some routes are incorrect/outdated unfortunately.
