travel time to Whispering Canyon

Hi

WE are planning a trip WDW in Dec and want to see Fatasmic it is at 6:30 p.m. of the date we want
We are planning a late dinner after it And was wondering about Whispering Canyon (it open to 10p.m. )
Any idea about travel time and w ant time to make Adr's

Or do you think Ohana's would be a better choice.

Whispering Canyon is so much fun.

Fantasmic 6:30 PM should be done by 7:30 PM in DHS

WL is closer to MK than DHS - so I would leave 1 hour bus time. DHS to WL.

I would suggest a 9 PM ADR - if that is a good time for dinner and your family.

Whispering Canyon is easier to find. It is right off the lobby. across from the check in desk.

not really sure but I think the bus to the Wilderness also stops at the Grand Floridian and the Poly but the Wilderness Lodge is the first stop. We stayed there last year and I know that from Epcot the Bus to the Wilderness Lodge shares with Fort Wilderness and the Lodge is the first stop. And going to HS Wilderness Lodge is the first pick-up followed by the poly and GF.

If I remember correctly the drive time is about 20 minutes and the trip from the bus to the Whispering Canyon is about a 3 min. walk. I think that you will spend more time getting out of HS than actually traveling. If the 6:30 Fantasmic is on time you should be able to make a 9 or 9:30 reservation at Whispering Canyon.

What resort are you staying at? There might be a better choice. Though Whispering Canyon is one of my favorites, we ate there late one night last May and we got none of the usual antics. But the food was excellant.
