Travel time to Kennedy Space Center

We will be taking a day to see KSC from Vistana Resort in Orlando. Could anyone give me an estimate on travel time getting to KSC? Also the web gives two routes to get to KSC - taking SR 528 or SR 50 - any suggestions as to which would be the better route? Thank you.

It takes about an hour. We have always taken 417 to 528 and then 528 to the exit that takes you to KSC. Don't know the road numbers or names. I just know how to get there, you know what I mean? I am sure if you do a Mapquest thing you can get yourself a route.

Avoid Hwy 50 if you're in a hurry. It's not a freeway for most of the distance you would be driving AND it's far north of the Vistana resort. Take 417 east to the 528 east.........I think the exit you will need is to I-95 NORTH, but I could be wrong about this one; ther ewill be a sign to direct you.

Both the 417 and the 528 are toll roads (417 - $2 each way, 528 - ~ $1.25 or $1.50 each way), so make sure you have cash ready. There will be 2 toll booths on the 417 @ $1.00 each and 1 toll both on the 528, not long after you merge from the 417. Hope this helps.
