Travel time from parks to ASMovies

Just finished reading the tread about travel alternative if you miss DME. My general impression is that I DON’T want to miss my ride to the airport.

I did a quick search but couldn’t find the answer to my question: How much time should I plan on to get back to All Stars Movies from the parks? I’m not sure what park we’ll be in (we plan on using the last day as a “let’s go back to XXXXX as we had the best fun there” day). Feb 6th, shouldn’t be crowded anywhere, DME will leave about 3pm.

We were planning on leaving the park (i.e. be at the bus stop at the park) about 2 pm. Is that enough time?

Nope, not really enough time. If you get a pickup time of 3pm, you need to be back at your resort, ready to go, at the DME bus stop no less than 15 mins prior to the time you are given....so, 2:45. If you plan to leave the park at 2, you could face a wait at the bus stop...the bus might come along at 2:15ish, and you would get back to the resort by 2:30ish. Then, you have to go to Luggage Assistence and get any carryon bags you may have left, and while that can be quick, it can also be very slow. Then, people usually want to use the restrooms and check out the gift shop one more time...so, now you're rushing around.
Much better to plan on leaving a park 90 mins (no less) prior to your pickup time. That gives you time to get back to the resort and get all your business taken care of.
Believe me...there is nothing worse than rushing around, trying not to be late for the return trip to MCO!! I've watched families doing it...you don't want to go there!!!!
