Travel time from AK to DD?

About how long would it take us to get from AK to Wolfgang Puck's Cafe in Downtown Disney? We'd be using Disney transportation most likely.

Would it faster to take our own car ... or would we get lost?!?!

As long as you follow the overhead signs at WDW, it is difficult to get lost.

It will be faster to take your own car. The roads are well marked. You should have no problem. Trip time, less than 30 minutes.

For using WDW trasportation, you would need to go to a resort first. Then get on the DTD bus from there. Worst case, the trip will take 75 minutes. Best case option 45 minutes.

If you do take WDW transportation you have a couple of options. The last time we were there, we went from AK to AKL - then waited for the bus to DTD. We had to stop at BB first. And it seemed like a long time for the bus. But we were in no hurry.

You could take a bus to Pop Century, then a bus to DTD. Pop Century only has one bus stop, so it seems quicker.

The other option would be to take a bus to SSR - then walk to DTD. Have never done this.

Did the bus from AKL stop at BB or was it TL?

Actually, It doesn't matter what resort you go to. The DTD bus from any resort will stop at TL either before or after DTD. It depends on the time of day.
