Travel time, AP activation, ADR time

Okay, advice needed. My flight lands at MCO at 8:20 am. I am taking Mears Connect to All Stars. Plan to leave my overnight bag at Bell Services and head to bus stop to MK. At MK, I have to activate my AP before heading into the park.

Here’s the catch, I currently have an ADR at LTT at 11:05 am, thinking I could head there upon arrival. But when I booked that, I wasn’t thinking about waiting for AP activation. I was assuming if my flight was delayed, I would cancel or move the reservation.

Now I am thinking I should just try moving the ADR later….. I know it’s risky having an ADR as your first main goal. I’ve made this work in the past, but I’m less confident in Mears Connect vs DME and I don’t know how long the line will be at Guest Relations…..

Advice?

That is a tight timeline. Not sure if you have to wait at the luggage carousel at the airport (which would be a big X factor). Personally I wouldn't want to be rushing to make that time. It is possible, I suppose, if absolutely everything goes your way (flight lands efficiently and on time, Mears and the Disney bus are there waiting for you in both cases, no luggage to pick up at MCO, no lines at Will Call for AP)... If it were me, however, I would see if I could push back the ADR. I wouldn't want to start my week with a leg of the Amazing Race.

I would consider that if using a rideshare but no way would I do that with Mears. There was a report on the transport board about Mears taking 2.5 hours to drop someone off- and they were the first stop the waiting was at the airport. Sure, maybe you’ll be the lucky last group to board and you’ll be under an hour or you’re the first group on, last group off & you should have budgeted 3 hours.
