We will being flying out of San Jose Calif. the day after Xmas. Anyone know what the crowds are like at the airport on the 26th. Not necessarily San Jose airport, any airport expirence will do :smooth:

maybe this will help. We have flown on 12/25 and you would be surprised how busy it was. I expected everybody to home by the 25th. I would guess the 26th will be a little less busy than the 25th, but you never know. Some people may plan to travel that day as the prices drops. As you search for fares, look at the seat maps and see how full the flights are, that should give you a good idea.
Remember it is holiday season and lots of people will be traveling.

Hi RLM, Couldn't help but notice you are from Aptos. So am I and we are planning on flying on Jan 1 out of San Jose. Maybe we'll
be in the world at the same time!

then we will spend (dare I say this) 5 days at the Portifino Bay at Universal Studios. Hope you have a great stay!!!

We once flew to Orlando on Dec. 26th. We flew out of an airport that only has one airline, Pan Am.

We had to make an emergency landing in Raliegh/Durham and the airport there was NUTS!!!! The lines for food were 45 minutes long, and the airport ran out of food because it was so busy by 5pm.

When we took off, we had to wait about 20 minutes to take off, because there were so many planes ahead of us...and that was at 8:30pm!

Also, we had to circle Boston for over 30 minutes, because there was no room for us in the sky to procede any further!

I say fly a different day if it's possible....
