I am traveling to Disneyland in late October and I am wondering about travel insurance. Usually I just get health insurance but considering forest fires and the political climate in the US I am looking into trip cancellation insurance as well. I have always bought my travel insurance from CAA in the past but I'm wondering if that is the best choice for trip cancellation and interruption insurance. I would love to hear from you if you have had experience with CAA travel insurance of any kind. I would also appreciate advice on other places I could get insurance from.

I don’t buy my medical insurance thru CAA because of first payer. I believe CAA uses TuGo. You’d have to look into their policies. I use Blue Cross.
But for trip interruption I use CAA. I got it for last Aug trip to Florida. Good thing my schedule flight out was a couple of days before Irma. I only got the interruption part. Not cancellation.
