Travel Insurance $ per point

I received a travel insurance brochure with my reservation confirmation paperwork. However when I tried to find out how much money the travel insurance company pays per point Disney told me to call the Travel Insurance company which is logical. Then the Travel Insurance Company would not give me a dollar figure and told me I had to get this information from Disney. Has anyone had any experience with this? It seems crazy to buy insurance from a company that can't even tell you what the coverage is, and DVC was no help either.
