Anyone used either of these companies? Tell me the Good, bad, ugly? They are literally within $1 of each other and seem to cover exactly the same things. So I don't know which to go with!

We used Allianz for a non-Disney trip and we had to cancel our trip due to a medical issue with my FIL and they were great to work with. So far, this has been the only time we have had to file a travel insurance claim.

We always get TravelGuard because they are one of the few companies we found that will reimburse us if our trip is cancelled due to the military revoking DH's leave. We've never had to file a claim though, so I can't speak to how it is to work with them.

I have never had a claim but I have always bought Allianz. I had heard good things about them in the past and they are always affordable so I continue to stick with them. I hope I never have to use it but I pray they are good if I do!

i got the new amazon visa rewards card and among the many amazing benefits of the card, which has no annual fee... is that it is travel insurance for trips booked in full with the card! that includes if you were to rent a car.. i spent so much in travel insurance, thinking yeah well it would be bad if we didnt get it.. so here goes the money!!! Now, all i have to do is book with the trip and i will also get 1% back .. so i do recommend it. I got it on Amazon and they gave me $50 too.

Have a great trip!
