Hey, I am driving from MS to Orlando. It is about a 12 hr drive. We will not be able to start driving until about 4 in the afternoon. I would like to stop somewhere between Tallahassee and Lake City. Does anyone know of a town to stop in and a good place to stay? Thanks.

We stopped in Madison, FLA at a Holiday Inn Express, It's about a 14 hour trip for us and we left at 2pm, when you hit FLA stop at a gas station and get a hotel coupon book, it saved us some money.

for hotel bargin - both Tallahasee and Lake City are you best bid - they are only about 2 hours apart.

I will time them again on this trip
