Travel from WDW to Port Canaveral

I know the travel time is about 1 hour 15 minutes. For the locals and those who make the trip regularly, should we allow any extra time on a Saturday morning in November in case of traffic or is the 1:15 pretty consistent? With the strict port arrival times, I don't want to be early or late. I know they will turn you away if you're early. What happens if you're late?

You can arrive anytime after your PAT window, but I would say dont be any later than 2:30 or so to allow time to get tested and board before departure.

Nothing happens. Our PAT started at 11:45 but we didn't get there until 12:00.
