Travel from OKW to Port Canaveral (return)

Hi all,

Complete newly here who has never cruised before on ANY cruise line. We are looking at the Wish 3 night cruise in August leaving from Fort Canaveral. We are coming from the UK and won't have a car. We will be at OKW on the 18th and returning there afterwards. But back to the question....how do I get to the port?

DCL bus (has a charge).

Car service is another option, and more private. Can be about the same pricing as a DCL bus with more time options.

Your options are to use DCL transportation at $78 per person round trip, schedule a car service anywhere from $150-250 each way, request a Uber/Lyft which can vary $80-180 each way or if you’re comfortable driving, you can rent a car each way, prices will vary greatly.

Thank you. I've seen the DCL buses in the past but didn't know if they had stopped running when the MCO to WDW buses stopped.

Magical Expresswas a "free" service between MCO and WDW resorts. That complimentary service is no longer available. DCL Transfers have always cost and are still offered at $39 per person one-way, between the port and MCO or WDW resorts.

We always used the Disney Cruise Line bus and really liked it. If you use another service, you can pick an earlier port arrival time otherwise with the DCL bus you can expect to be picked up at your resort somewhere around noon and you may have several other resort stops before heading to the port. It's not uncommon to arrive at the port between 1:30 and 2:30pm.

That was true before the shutdown, but since the restart, pickup times have been much earlier. Reports here have mentioned pickups between 8:00am and 9:30am.
