Hello all! I was wondering which day of the week is most common for people to arrive and depart Walt Disney World? I say that it is Saturday, but my DH says Sunday. Our trip is planned 11/29- 12/6 and I was wondering when most of the heavy Thanksgiving crowd will be going home?

When it comes to guests checking-in I am not sure I can give an answer, because it depends on people's schedules and availability at the specific Resort they want to stay at. As for when they would check-out based on what I have seen I would say Sunday is the most common day, however if there was a holiday weekend then I would say they would leave on Monday.

I would venture to say it is Sunday at any DVC property. Because Friday and Saturday points are so high, members tend to check-in on Sunday.

We're checking out on 11/29. We usually arrive on Friday, but this year it will be Thursday.

All will be guesses as only Disney has demo's that tell them what trends are at certain times of the year for check-in, but our family arrives on Saturday and leaves on Saturday. Typically we see arrivals on Sunday and departures on Saturday as people like to go home and get a day of rest from their vacation before returning to work on Monday.
