Has anyone recently been on this excursion with someone who needs to transfer from a wheelchair? We have it booked later this month on the Dream but so far DCL is unable to tell us whether we can bring a collapsible chair. My aunt is able to walk very short distances but we're concerned that the walk from the ship to the pickup point and back is too much so will rent a wheelchair for the cruise to ensure she can go on this excursion if that's an option. Any help would be much appreciated!

This is what it says in the Know Before You Go description:
  • Wheelchairs need to be standard size and collapsible; no electric wheelchairs will be permitted. Each Guest must be able to embark the vessel and the bus unassisted.
From the description it sounds like as long as she can board the catamaran and then the mini-bus, a manual folding wheelchair would be ok. How much she can access in the wheelchair could be a question -- I recall most shops had a step up to enter -- and in particular the fort and Queen's Staircase might be something she'd have to sit out.

Sometimes you can figure out the actual tour vendor and contact them for more info. I'm not very good at that as we only do DCL excursions.
