Just came across this and need to sign up as soon as I finish class Thursday and have time to write. Seems to be an easy way to get GCs for things a LOT of us already do here - post reviews of hotels/resorts, travel journals (trip reports), post pics.

I'll post info in separate posts in this thread so that one post doesn't get too overwhelming

Registration 250
Completed Passport (all fields complete) 250
Upload Member Passport Photo 250
All Journal Entries (excluding Hot Destinations)
Three-star rating 50
Four- or five-star rating 100
All Journal Overviews
Three-star rating 200
Four- or five-star rating 350
Photos (GO points are not awarded until photos have been individually reviewed)
Any original photo 10
Outstanding photos 25
Member Views (GO points are only awarded when a signed-in member reads one of your entries in the 6 months following its submission) 10



GO Points Bonuses
First Journal (minimum of two entries) 1000
Hot Destination Entries
Three-star rating 100
Four- or five-star rating 200
First Five Journal for Any Destination (minimum five entries and overall editor rating of 3.8) 1200
High-Quality Journal (minimum five entries, overall editor rating of 3.8, and three photos) 1300

6000 = $25
12000 = $50
24000 = $100


American Airlines Frequent Flyer Miles

GO Points = AA Miles
25,000 = 5,000
50,000 = 10,000
75,000 = 15,000
100,000 = 20,000
125,000 = 25,000
125,000 = 1 r/t ticket

Is anyone else having trouble getting into the "accomodations" page? I can't click on it for some reason- it just keeps saying there is an error on the page.

Also, does anyone know how long it will take for our journal entries to be reviewed? Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing (about how long it takes to be reviewed). I placed some a few days ago, and haven't seen anything.

Also, I can't get the accomodations tab to work either.

I didn't see anything about referral points, but supposedly they give you points when a member reads it. So maybe you can add people to your network to have them read your entries (post your username on this site, and I'll add you to mine.)

Does anyone know how long it will take to be credited for this? I last updated on 7/3 and 7/4, and it is now 7/13, and there are no points credited for anything I did.

I have tried emailing them, but it keeps getting sent back to me as undeliverable. I am starting to wonder if this is a scam.

I Found Nemo: Check the left side of the page under your stats. Does it show how many "Go points" you have? I've read and rated your reviews, so it should show at least a few. Keep us posted!

Hi, yes, there are some GO points listed, but way less than I should have. No editors have rated my reviews, and it has been 2 weeks since I changed anything. I haven't gotten credit for my photos lately, either. I got credit for the first 3 of them, but I now have 22 on there, and the points are still the same from the first three. I have been waiting to update or start any new journals until my points get caught up with what I do have already.

Oh, and thanks for reviewing some of my journals- I did yours too!!
