Is it possible to mention a few TA's that specialize in Disney?
I wasn't sure if it's forbidden to do this or not.
We have been on several cruises but just not Disney and I think I read here that you can get better pricing through a TA as opposed to just booking through Disney.

I did come across a couple of TA's but I can't find phone numbers for them. It looks like they only do quotes online

Thank you

I use Small World Vacations. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

You can mention TAs here. The only requirement is that you need to post the whole address, not just the name of the TA. Some TAs are blocked and, if it's on the list, the link won't come through.

just testing.

I’ve used Dreams Unlimited for my last 6 cruises and have always been happy with the service I’ve received. I am a planner and hesitated giving up control, but gave it a try and DU fits my needs. I can still take care of my own excursions and can still access my reservations. But I pay for the cruise through DU who applies the payment. DU does all the phone work and requests. Especially when converting my placeholders to actual reservations. It’s a win win as I get out of the long waits on the phone and get a onboard credit all the while helping a small business. I have recommended them to several friends and family who are equally pleased.

I have been trying to put together a list and ironically I already had the two listed above. I will be interested to learn of any others people have used.

When you say apply the payment, do they give Disney your info to make a payment or do you pay DU who then pays Disney? This is important to me because I am planning to take advantage of the 0% for 6 months offer (even though we are planning to have enough saved by the time the trip comes we still want to take advantage of the promotion and keep that money in our interest earning savings account as long as we can). Thanks!

Basically my two key factors are the amount of on board credit and being sure the TA will take my payment info directly to Disney in order to take advantage of the Disney Visa promotion......does anyone have any other factors they normally would use to narrow down a TA?

Just to clarify... you won't get better pricing - nobody is allowed to discount DCL cruises beyond what DCL may be offering. So the price will be the same if you book with a TA or direct through DCL. However, many TA's will offer some sort of "perk" -- often an onboard credit amount.

Enjoy your cruise!

We love Jeff Whitfill at E Ticket Travel: www.etickettravel.com.
Looking at this site it brought up another good factor for me. I just looked at E Ticket and noticed their referral $$, we are planning on making this a group trip with each family making their reservation through the TA we choose. The E Ticket referral program could earn us a decent chunk when all of the families book and mention they are joining us. Thanks for sharing!!

Well please don't forget to mention me when you start the chain then.

You use a secure form to submit your credit card to DU and then they use your credit card to pay DCL. I used DU for my Adventures by Disney Vacation and my upcoming DCL cruise and have taken advantage of the 0% financing with Disney Visa on both reservations. I have been very happy with the service that DU provides as well.

Thanks for answering.

Yes OP there is a secure link on their site that you use and they do it on your behalf, or you can do it over the phone. When my daughter does it, she uses Disney gift cards, but combines them into a bigger one first and applies the payment through the same link as I do.

We have used Small World Vacations for both our cruises and love how we still have control over all of our onboard activites, and get a nice onboard credit as the bonus. Our agent has been on several Disney Cruises and vacations so she has been very helpful with first hand knowledge about what to expect and the timelines of everything.

Our first cruise booked direct, but all subsequent have been with Small World Travel.

Jacki at https://mousefantravel.com is my total Rock Star of a TA!!!

No better pricing, but she has given me super service no matter how many changes I make to something. She even called me on Silver opening day for the last release to clarify what my request was while she was on the other line with DCL.

No better pricing. You can get onboard credits or cash back through many agencies. I book via Costco Travel, which provides a Costco Cash Card for 8% of the cruise fare, which you can use for anything st Costco including gasoline, or at many Costcos, you can cash out the full value of the card instead of spending it there.
