Transporting 2 ECV's

We will be at Disney in two weeks! I originally ordered an ECV for my mother in law and I just had to order one for my husband. He had a pretty bad accident involving his leg. My question is how to transport 2 ECV's to the parks. We are staying at Fort Wilderness in our camper. We are worried about it taking forever to get around using Disney transportation. Our other option is to bring our own 12' trailer to load the ECV's on and drive to the parks ourselves. Has anyone done this? We don't want to get stuck waiting for multiple buses.

I don't think it'll be as bad as your might be imagining. The Disney buses come very frequently even if both ECVs can't board the same bus. We just stayed at Ft Wilderness and our transportation to MK was by boat from the Ft Wilderness Dock. You can board the larger boat -- the smaller launch boats that go to Ft Wilderness-Wilderness Lodge-Contemporary Resort don't take ECVs. The boat to MK took 10 minutes or less. Once there, you could consider taking the MK monorail to the TTC, then change to the Epcot monorail at the TTC. That would leave you two parks you need Disney buses for -- Animal Kingdom and Disney Hollywood Studios. IMO there isn't a large crowd of people waiting for the Ft Wilderness bus from the parks. I think it'll be OK for you as-is.
