We will be spending four nights at the All-Star Music this March and then taking the three night disney cruise. There will be five of us going. My company who is paying for the cruise has worked a deal with Disney to have a bus take us to the ship. The bus will leave only from the Swan hotel. My travel agent called Disney and was told we get take the shuttle bus that takes you to the various parks to the Swam hotel that morning. My question is, how much of a hassle will it be to board these buses with all our luggage or should I just rent a limo to pick us up and take us to the ship.? This is our first time in Disney.
Thanks

That would probably be a pretty big hassle. First, the WDW buses aren't really set up to handle luggage. You'd just be stacking your suitcases in the aisle. Second, there won't be a direct bus between ASMu and the Swan; you'll have to take one bus to someplace else (maybe DTD?) and the switch to a bus to the Swan.

If the free shuttle to the port is important, you'd probably be better of getting a cab from ASMu to the Swan. I'd recommend doing a town car or limo myself.

We do a lot of Disney cruises and always use a towncar. Even without having to take one of the park buses, you will still be able to choose your own time to leave and will have a private vehicle for your group. We typically fly in the night before our cruise and use Happy Limo to transport us in the morning. A porter will take your bags at the port, and they will be delivered to your stateroom later (you keep your day bag with you). Nice, simple, and hassle-free :D

We have always preferred to use FL Tours for our transportation. Andy is a wonderful guy who will see to it you are taken care of.

FL Tours is the official transportation company of the DIS and by using them we are supporting these boards. I know that I would be lost when it comes to my Disney planning without these boards.

Go to www.fltours.com/reservations.htm and fill out a request, you will see pricing before you ever have to submit the request for a reservation

You really should visit the DCL Board and ask the same question. This topic is discussed a LOT there!

Also, Barb mentioned her site as a resource regarding transportation: www.castawayclub.com

ANOTHER great one is Dave's site: www.dcltribute.com
