We are driving our truck with our Pop-up to FW. Do we park our car at our site and still use it for transportation when going to parks etc? Or do we have to leave our truck parked up front and take bus to parking lot when we want to go around?

Thanks,
Winnie

You can park your truck at you campsite. You can use the transportation to get around the campgrounds. You can park your truck at the front were the buses go to epcot and AK. There is no parking at the rear for the boat to MK or the buses to MGM. Patsy:goodvibes

Well, since the transportation is so slow, we will just use our own vehicle to get around to parks and such. We are regulars to WDW. But it's been so long (18 years) since we stayed at FW, I couldn't remember if we were allowed to keep our vehicles with us to get around. But yes, we will use transporation to get around FW itself.

Thanks,
Winnie

You can park your truck at your site, you can drive your truck to the different parks and even the different resorts. But you can't use your truck to get around inside FW. Only to and from your site BUT, there is very limited, temporary parking at the Meadows. I have found the Disney transportation very good and usually use it excursively.

Bikes are a great way to get around within FW, and destinations like trading posts, pool, TE, marina etc all have bike racks.
